The Treasure of Sierra Madre

August 28, 2018, 1:00PM - 3:00PM

John Huston directs this superior 1948 morality play shot entirely on location in Mexico. It’s one of the best movie treatments of the corrosiveness of greed, with Humphrey Bogart in perfect pitch playing a decent guy whose character slowly crumbles before the god of gold. Huston won Oscars for both Director and Screenplay while his father, Walter Huston, won a Best Supporting Actor award for the same film.

This film shows at 1:00pm and 6:00pm.
